A painting for a couple in California, USA. Created in collaboration with the client, the brief was for a 150 x 100 cm painting which borrowed the composition from one of my paintings they’d seen previously with the palette from another. Elements which were bespoke to the client were then worked in to create something completely unique for them.

The frame was painted in Farrow and Ball’s ‘Mouse’s Back’

(Autumn 2024).

Client testimonial:

We love it! Linda and I just sit and look at it multiple times in a day while we have morning coffee or lunch in that room.

There are different parts to it so there is a lot to take in, which is my favorite kind of composition. I love your use of color and how you blend and transition the different colors with one another. I also like the visual textures you create to give different affects. Thank you so much of working with me to create this piece in a way that feels personal and unique. It was a pleasure to work with you. You were flexible and good natured about my input, which was much appreciated. I have never had a commission before and this was a great experience. (US collector, January 2025)
